Due to the current corona regulations and the uncertain requirements for the current first quarter, the organizer of the interdisciplinary trade fair for optics, photonics, electronics and mechanics W3+ Fair 2022 in Wetzlar has decided to postpone the presence event from March to July. The new date is July 6 + 7, 2022, and the accompanying conference 'N-Tec Talks ' with its main topics Industry 4.0, New Technologies, Business Opportunities and User Markets will also take place on this new date.
The optics region of Thuringia/Jena, IVAM with "Microtechnology for Optical Devices" and - new - OptecNet Deutschland will be represented with joint stands. There will also be special areas on the subject of robotics - supported by VDI Mittelhessen and 3D printing/additive manufacturing. A new feature is the special area of IHK Hessen innovativ - an association of several IHKs - on the topics of sustainability, AI and digitalization. Another important component of the trade fair in Wetzlar will be the topic of recruiting, which will be supported by EPIC this year. At the last event at the end of February 2020, 180 exhibitors met a good 2,800 visitors. In the fall (30.11. - 1.12. 2022), the southern counterpart W3+ Fair Rheintal will also take place in Dornbirn, Austria, which will address its visitor potential in the four-country region around Lake Constance.
