Fuji Europe has launched a new multifunctional placement platform that combines the functionality of three machines. The sFAB-Alpha also supports the integrated handling of multiple part types. It efficiently assembles axial/radial components and jumpers. The 3-in-1 principle increases utilization, saves changeover time, space and installation/operating costs.
The compactly designed system requires only 25% of the space of a conventional machine. It was designed to automate manual assembly work and achieve high productivity. It supports variable-volume production. The platform works with freely combinable parts supply units. The required units are set according to production. This significantly reduces the workload. It also enables shorter and more efficient changeover times.
The system supports the offline exchange and stack exchange of feeders. Feeders can be changed in one batch using the feeder trolley feed method. Parts can be exchanged in a very short time.
The sFAB-Alpha corresponds with the Nexim software system provided by Fuji. As it is possible to use shared panel and part data, the time for order creation can be reduced.
