BA Elektronik Europtech has been part of ICAPE Germany since the end of March. The acquisition of the PCB and cable supplier from Schnaittenbach/Upper Palatinate by the ICAPE Group subsidiary follows shortly after the inauguration of its new offices in Rheinfelden-Herten at the beginning of 2021. The ICAPE Group is a global supplier of PCBs and technical parts for electronics manufacturing. BA Elektronik Europtech will continue to operate from the company's current office, but under the ICAPE Germany banner.
In 2020, ICAPE Germany achieved a turnover of €15 million and expects a turnover of €20 million in 2021. "We have known the ICAPE Group and its organization since our company was founded in 2001," says BA Elektronik founder Reiner Moucha. "Back then, we had the opportunity to get to know each other at a trade fair because our stands were close to each other." Almost 10 years later, the company from Schnaittenbach specifically asked whether there was a possibility of cooperation in the PCB sector. The cooperation that had existed since then was now followed by the merger.
