Hofstetter PCB AG in Switzerland has invested in a new Desmear line and ordered it from long-standing supplier TSK Schill GmbH. The new horizontal wet-chemical system has now been commissioned and has taken over the tasks of the previous, outdated line.
The desmearing process is necessary in PCB production in order to clean drill holes and optimally prepare them for through-hole plating. It is carried out by wet chemical means as standard or by plasma treatment for certain requirements. "We are proud to have implemented a very important project for Hofstetter PCB with the new line," says TSK Sales Manager Marc Aicheler.
