Industrial 3D TLC cards with 112 layers

Industrial 3D TLC cards with 112 layers

The technologically savvy developer of system memory solutions Apacer, Taiwan, now offers the CH120 series of memory cards for industrial applications. They are designed in the latest 112-layer BiCS5 3D TLC NAND technology and optimized for AI facial recognition and intelligent IoT applications. BiCS5 technology brings measurable benefits to SSDs as it significantly improves capacity and keeps latency extremely low. The SD Association A2-sealed CH120 series realizes 4000/2000 IOPS for 4K image read/write performance. This also applies to unfavorable environmental conditions. They work at temperatures from -40 to +85 °C.

The industrial cards in the CH120 series are also equipped with over-provisioning and SLC-liteX technology. Over-provisioning drastically reduces write amplification and thus extends the service life of the SSD. SLC-liteX technology increases the service life to 30000 P/E cycles - ten times that of conventional 3D TLC SSDs. This makes the CH120 series ideal for IoT applications and AI-driven facial recognition in retail, finance, transportation and healthcare. The cards join Apacer's extensive BiCS5 3D TLC product range, which also includes the ST250 2.5-inch drives and industrial M.2 2280 SSDs. For 2022, Apacer announces further improvements in capacity (up to 2TB), latency and reliability for applications in 5G, smart IoT, edge computing, secure surveillance, smart healthcare and deep learning.

Apacer Technology Inc. provides industrial SSDs and RAM memory modules, consumer digital products and flash memory offered through a global network of distributors, manufacturing companies and retailers.
