From February 8 to 10, 2022, Harting invites you to the online event Industrial Ethernet Week. Customers and industry experts will be able to exchange ideas and information about Ethernet communication in factory automation in a week full of talk formats. Current and future solutions that are in the starting blocks for the IIoT will be highlighted. Harting experts will discuss with guests from the industrial sector what users need to bear in mind when it comes to IIoT, such as the right connection technology, Sensor2cloud, SPE and artificial intelligence. Guests from Kuka, B&R, Sick, Analog Devices, Würth Elektronik eiSosGmbH & Co KG, the SPE Industrial Partner Network e.V. and Erium will be there.
Next Tuesday will be dominated by new technologies: How will Ethernet develop as a communication medium for industrial automation in the future and what new technologies are needed to meet the increased challenges for new applications? What role does artificial intelligence play? What possibilities do SPE, OPC UA and TSN offer for a seamless connection from the sensor to the cloud?
On Wednesday, the focus will be on the question of how device design will change. Advancing miniaturization and increased data processing requirements for individual IIoT participants require new approaches in the design-in process. At the same time, the necessary infrastructure must also be available for new tasks. The online event will take a look at space-saving connectivity and SPE as a new physical layer and discuss how this can be integrated into new generations of devices.
The last day (Thursday) is dedicated to the installation world: What impact do the above questions have on installation technology? The discussions will focus on an overview of the right interface for each application under the motto 'No IIoT without the right connection'. Interested parties can register at the following link.
