Inkjet printing solution for research into organic materials for new displays

Notion Systems, a provider of industrial inkjet solutions with long experience in scaling up digital printing processes for functional materials, has been selected by ICCAS (Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences) for research applications with its inkjet printing solution 'n.jet'.

Notion's Chinese partner YixinTech, a supplier of flexible printed electronics, conducted a long-term study and comparison of inkjet printers on the market. The processes used include piezo jet, aerosol jet, EHD printing, UPD 3D printing, slot die and R2R, gravure and flexo printing, NIR and photonic curing. ICCAS is a multidisciplinary research institute dedicated to basic research in the chemical sciences and enjoys a high international reputation. One current focus is on organic materials for new displays.

Antonio Schmidt from Notion Systems was convinced that industrial inkjet solutions offer added value in terms of accelerating research and protecting the environment. The n.jet inkjet platform is used to produce OLED and QLED displays, printed circuit boards, sensors and 3D parts.
