A change is on the horizon at EKRA: On December 31, 2023, Managing Director Jakob Szekeresch will hand over the management of the company to Markus Albrecht. Albrecht has already been supporting Jakob Szekeresch in the management of EKRA Automatisierungssysteme, based in Bönnigheim, since fall 2022.
Szekeresch, an engineer specializing in electrical engineering, took over the management of EKRA within the ASYS Group at the beginning of 2007. In recent years, he has held various management positions as an authorized signatory, general manager and consultant.
After studying process engineering, his successor Albrecht worked for 25 years in plant and special machine construction. In various professional positions, he got to know all areas at different levels. Among other things, he was Managing Director of a medium-sized robot manufacturer in the semiconductor industry for five years.
EKRA, part of the ASYS Group, offers screen and stencil printing systems as well as services and products for all aspects of integrated printing process development. This includes products and solutions for applications in the SMT, hybrid thick film and advanced packaging sectors and ranges from manual laboratory printers to fully automated inline systems and flexible dual-track solutions through to complete production lines.
