Dr. Klaus Fiedler (50) is to become the new CEO of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG. The Supervisory Board of the SDAX-listed technology company has appointed the doctor of physics to the Management Board alongside CFO Christian Witt with effect from April 1, 2022 or earlier. The contract term is three years.

With his profound understanding of the technology industry, his strong customer focus and his deep understanding of the relevant markets in Asia-Pacific, North America and Europe, Fiedler brings all the necessary skills to drive the LPKF Group forward.
Fiedler says: "LPKF is known for its innovations in high-precision laser technology. Fiedler is currently Vice President and Head of Corporate Ventures at Schott AG, where he is responsible for the global identification, evaluation and development of new business areas. Prior to this, he held various management positions at Knowles Electronic in China, at NXP in Austria and at Philips Research in the USA and Germany. CFO Christian Witt and interim Management Board member Britta Schulz are looking forward to welcoming Fiedler as the new CEO: "Together, we want to continue to successfully develop LPKF in the future." Following Fiedler's appointment, Schulz will leave the Management Board as planned and devote herself fully to her role as Head of the Development division.
