At the beginning of June, Cicor announced the successful conclusion of a strategic supply partnership with Mercury Mission Systems International (Mercury). As part of the partnership, Cicor will take over Mercury's electronics production site in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva (Switzerland) with 34 employees. Mercury and Cicor intend to gradually transfer production to the sites in Newport (United Kingdom) and Bronschhofen (Switzerland) over the next 18 months.
Mercury has made a commitment to Cicor to purchase products over the next five years. Both parties intend to intensify their cooperation in the long term in order to tap into additional sales potential. Cicor was selected as the preferred outsourcing partner due to its technological expertise, broad development and manufacturing capabilities and established presence in Europe.
Together with the acquisition of a total of seven Eolane sites in France and Morocco completed in April 2025 and the announced signing of an agreement to acquire MADES S.A.U. in Spain, the transaction strengthens Cicor's strategic position as a pan-European provider of mission-critical electronics solutions in the aerospace and defense sectors.
