Something is happening in the trade fair landscape for electronics and electronics manufacturing: Next year, from October 6-8, 2026, the 'Expo for Electronics Manufacturing' (EFX) will take place for the first time at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center.
The event in the state capital of Baden-Württemberg will be held in conjunction with MOTEK (trade fair for production and assembly automation), VISION (trade fair for image processing), Quantum Effects (trade fair and conference for quantum technologies) and hy-f cell (trade fair for the hydrogen and fuel cell industry) and is scheduled to take place every two years. The announcement promises a new, fresh approach and is likely to be seen as a wake-up call for the industry.
The companies ANS, Christian Koenen, Ersa, Essemtec, Fritsch, Fuji Europe. IBL Löttechnik, Inertec, Koh Young Europe, Kolb Cleaning Technology, Pagge Werkzeugtechnik, Panasonic Connect Europe, Reel Werkzeugtechnik, Rehm Thermal Systems, Smartrep and SMT Wertheim have already pledged their support.
