The general meeting of the ZVEI trade association Printed Circuit Boards and Electronic Systems (PCB-ES) has elected Nicolas-Fabian Schweizer (Schweizer Electronic) as its new chairman. He succeeds Johann Weber (Zollner Elektronik), who retired at the turn of the year. Weber has been elected Honorary Chairman of the trade association.
"Digitalization is the only way to sustainably design complex systems in the areas of Industry 4.0, mobility, energy, buildings and health. However, it will only work with intelligent products. This is what the companies in the PCB, electronic assembly and integrated circuit industry stand for," says Schweizer.
Nicolas-Fabian Schweizer has been actively involved in the Steering Committee of the ZVEI PCB specialist group since 2017 and is particularly committed to networking young managers. Schweizer also successfully helped launch the ZVEI technology roadmap "Printed Circuit Boards".
"The aim is to expand cooperation between all companies involved in the supply chain in the ZVEI trade association," says Schweizer. "Because it not only strengthens the identity of each individual member, but also the visibility of the industry as a whole."
