The Nortec trade fair will take place in Hamburg from January 21 to 24. Under the motto 'Future? Läuft!', 450 national and international exhibitors will present the latest technologies, systems and services for production and manufacturing technology. Since 2018, the trade fair has been supplemented by the joint electronics manufacturing stand, where companies present their innovations alongside the entire value chain of component manufacturing.
The Swabian soldering automation specialist Eutect GmbH will also be exhibiting there for the first time, presenting its latest development, the MPC. This is a collaborative robot that can be used for other processes in addition to component soldering. The MPC KL (piston soldering) complete system presented can be equipped with piston soldering systems from JBC or Hakko. The soldering iron is permanently mounted on the arm of the robot, including the wire feeder SWF (Sensitive Wire Feeder). The robot, control systems and soldering iron form a single machine unit. The entire system is controlled by the input area, which starts with a light grid in the basic version and can be optionally extended with a rotary plate input for manual assembly and bulkheads for inline integration.Emil Otto and Feinhütte Halsbrücke will also be exhibiting together for the first time at Nortec 2020, where they will be presenting solders of various alloys and tapping forms, alcohol-based, water-based or hybrid fluxes, cleaning media for assemblies and machines in electronics production and other support media for soldering electronic assemblies at a joint stand (hall 3/stand 730E). "As a manufacturing soldering company, Feinhütte Halsbrücke works according to the same principle as Emil Otto: quality is important and is kept high thanks to excellent raw materials and a high level of effort in research and product development," explains Markus Geßner, Marketing and Sales Manager at Emil Otto GmbH. Tobias Patzig, authorized signatory of Feinhütte Halsbrücke, adds: "We have been working together for several years and are therefore aware of each other's qualities."
Multi Components will also be present in Hamburg: "By participating in Nortec 2020 and expanding our branch in Dortmund, we are strengthening our commitment in the north," emphasizes Head of Sales Jörg Stöcker. The stand will include exhibits for electronics production such as inspection and placement modules (Hall A Stand 631E).
