PCIM Europe 2023: Wide range of presentations on topics from the power electronics industry

PCIM Europe will soon be opening its doors and showcasing innovations from the power electronics industry in Nuremberg. Visitors can look forward to numerous product presentations and a lecture program on current industry topics from 09 - 11.05.2023. More than 500 exhibitors from over 30 countries will be showcasing their products and innovations - many of them new to PCIM Europe, mainly from Germany, China, the USA, Taiwan and Italy.

At the trade fair, three stages will serve as knowledge platforms for different focus topics. On the 'Exhibitor Stage' , visitors can learn about new products from exhibiting companies in short 20-minute presentations. The agenda of the 'Industry Stage' includes presentations and panel discussions on research and development topics in the industry, including highlights such as 'Progress in Development of GaN Power Devices' and 'HV Silicon and SiC Power Semiconductors; Key Components for Sustainable Energy Solutions'. The 'E-Mobility & Energy Storage Zone' will discuss what power electronics can do for electromobility and energy storage now and in the future. In addition to the lecture program, visitors can look forward to a networking area for an intensive exchange with experts.

Listeners to the presentations at the accompanying conference can delve even deeper into the world of power electronics and find out first-hand about the latest research results and developments. All topics of the value chain will be covered in over 350 presentations. Once again this year, three special sessions will focus on particularly relevant industry topics:

  • Wednesday, May 10, 09:50 - 11:50: 'Solutions for Future Medium Voltage Grids'
  • Wednesday, May 10, 14:00 - 15:00: 'Power Electronics for E-Mobility'
  • Thursday, May 11, 09:50 am - 11:10 am: 'Understanding Losses in WBG Power Devices'

In addition to the oral presentations in five conference rooms, poster presentations will be shown in the NCC Mitte entrance area on all conference days.

When purchasing a PCIM Europe ticket to visit the trade fair, the entrance fee for the parallel trade fairs 'SMTconnect' and 'SENSOR+TEST' in Nuremberg is included.
