The Peters research laboratory in Kempen has become a member of the Gesellschaft für Umweltsimulation (GUS). The quality testing laboratory, which uses state-of-the-art equipment to provide technical data such as electrical insulation resistance or key figures for liquid coating materials, can be accessed via its own subpages on the Peters portal (see link below). For example, the service 'Adhesion test with the cross-cut test of a printed circuit board test coupon min 5 x 5 cm according to ISO 2409' is offered.
"The added value of membership for us lies in the fact that we are networked with a further 150 providers via this platform," says Detlev Schucht, Head of Research and Development at the Kempen-based coating experts and Laboratory Manager at Peters Research.
Thanks to the GUS membership, the laboratory's service portfolio is now integrated in the scientific segment of the electrical engineering/electronics division in the GUS laboratory list. Interested customers who want to call on precisely these services from the Kempen laboratory will thus come across the expertise of Peters Research via this company, which was founded in 1969. "Anyone wishing to make use of our services under the ELPETEC brand can book them online via the Peters homepage," says Laboratory Manager Schucht.
The company, which is based in the district of Karlsruhe and docked to the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology, arranges contacts with environmental laboratories as well as between users and manufacturers of environmental simulation equipment and the associated measurement technology. In addition, the GUS offers a professional exchange via specialist publications, conferences, seminars and working groups.
Schucht: "Thanks to our membership, we can continue to develop and are always at the cutting edge of test laboratory technology." Customers, on the other hand, can rely on Peters Research to provide them with reliable data regarding performance and functional behavior, long-term behavior and service life as well as environmental impact. "We are thus underlining our contribution to sustainable management and positioning ourselves even more broadly as a full-service provider of coating materials for electronics," says Peters Managing Director Ralf Schwartz.
