On April 26, the cooperation between Arrow Electronics and Isabellenhütte Heusler was signed. This means that in future Arrow will distribute Isabellenhütte's product range in the field of resistors in EMEA (economic area Europe, Middle East and Africa). The two companies will also cooperate in the area of customer-specific solutions.
The newly added low-ohmic precision and power resistors with ISA-PLAN and ISA-WELD technologies complement Arrow's portfolio in the field of shunts (components for current measuring resistors).
With ISA-PLAN technology, the elements of the precision resistors are etched from foils of different resistor alloys. These resistors are used in the automotive industry, industrial and power electronics, aerospace, telecommunications and the medical sector, among others.
The ISA-WELD process uses a robust, electron beam-welded composite material consisting of two copper strips and a special resistor alloy. This composite material can be adapted to almost any shape or application in terms of stamping and bending, thus offering flexibility in terms of application design
