Project ideas can still be submitted for the FED (Fachverband Elektronikdesign und -fertigung) young talent competition until September 30, 2025. The award is aimed at young professionals, students, school pupils and trainees from Germany, Austria and Switzerland between the ages of 15 and 25 who are enthusiastic about technology and want to follow in the footsteps of Paul Eisler (1907-1992), the inventor of the printed circuit board.
Both individual young engineers and teams can demonstrate self-developed circuits and innovative electronics that make life easier. The submission itself is made with project documentation and a creative video, which should convince the jury of the functionality of the circuit.
The prize is sponsored by several companies in the industry; between €1,000 and €3,000 will be awarded to the three winning projects.
