RS Components (RS) has signed a global distribution agreement with Alliance Memory. Alliance Memory offers drop-in replacement SRAM, DRAM and Flash memory chips.
RS customers have access to all memory chips from Alliance Memory with memory capacities from 64 kbit to 8 Gbit. These include the popular asynchronous 3.3 V and 5 V SRAMs, which are often used alongside digital signal processors and microcontroller units, as well as synchronous SRAMs, low-power SRAMs and pseudo-SRAMs.
RS expects Alliance Memory's products to be used in particular for retrofitting telecommunications infrastructure, medical devices, industrial hardware and automotive systems.
