The Kurtz Ersa technology group has acquired 100% of the shares in Schiller Automation GmbH & Co KG, a supplier of industrial automation systems.
With this takeover, Kurtz Ersa intends to significantly develop the 'Automation' business segment. Schiller Automation is well positioned in the market and brings with it a wealth of know-how and many years of industrial experience. The company manufactures assembly lines for the automotive and medical technology industries and offers engineering and after-sales services in addition to the manufacture and assembly of systems. The headquarters of the owner-managed family business, which currently has 160 employees, is located in the north of the Neckar-Alb industrial region. The family-owned company expects to benefit from the integration into the Kurtz Ersa Group with its global sales and service network. Improved Automation is one of three business units in the Kurtz Ersa Group whose planned growth course will be supported by this acquisition.
