Zollner Elektronik acquires the EMS division of Electronic Instrumentation & Technology (EIT). This adds three more locations on the US East Coast to the Zollner Group's production network: Salem (New Hampshire), Leesburg (Virginia) and Danville (Virginia).
Joe May, founder and Chief Technology Officer at EIT, is pleased about the further development of the existing business relationship. EIT's customers will benefit from Zollner's purchasing and sales capabilities, and Zollner will benefit from EIT's qualified employees. Markus Aschenbrenner, a member of Zollner's Management Board, hopes that the acquisition of the EMS business will enable him to better serve existing customers in an expanded US market. Both companies have a common customer base and serve similar industries.
