From a pure steel trader to a system service provider for steel, stainless steel and aluminum: over the course of its 90-year history, Günther + Schramm's range of services has evolved considerably. With its full-service concept, the Oberkochen-based company generated a turnover of 100 million euros in 2019 - a good sign for the anniversary year.The fact that Günther + Schramm can continue its success story into 2020 is due in particular to its strategic orientation as a full-service provider in the steel, stainless steel and aluminum trade. The company acts as a materials trader, metal processor and supplier. At the customer's request, Günther + Schramm acts as an external warehouse and delivers the required materials to the production line just in time. In order to meet the ever-increasing demand for services, a constant expansion of the machinery is necessary. Since last year, Günther + Schramm has been supported by a new high-performance annealing furnace in the machining center in Königsbronn. In addition, investments were made in three new saws and a state-of-the-art storage and retrieval machine at other locations.
