Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals for sustainable solutions, announced today that it has been awarded an EcoVadis "Platinum" rating in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), placing the company in the top 1% of the highest rated companies in its industry.
Archroma was assessed by EcoVadis, an organization that specializes in evaluating the CSR performance of companies on a global scale. The assessment focuses on 21 criteria divided into 4 thematic areas: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. EcoVadis evaluates more than 75,000 companies in more than 160 countries and 200 industries.
Archroma took part in the assessment for the fourth consecutive year and had set itself the goal of achieving the EcoVadis "Platinum" rating.
