Most car manufacturers in Europe and the USA are striving to integrate innovative drive concepts into their existing product structures and assembly concepts. In order to avoid efficiency losses - the assembly of battery electric cars requires around 150 minutes less working time compared to combustion engines - existing line production and island assembly can be combined with driverless transport systems for swarm assembly, for example.
