Chem-Trend, a global leader in the development and production of high-performance release agents, cleaning granules and other specialized process chemicals, has founded a subsidiary in the Czech Republic, Chem-Trend CZ s.r.o., as of April 1, 2021. This is accompanied by the opening of an office in Prague. Chem-Trend's aim in taking this step is to further strengthen its proximity to distribution partners and customers in the Czech Republic in the future. This includes all industries in which Chem-Trend is active.
"The demand for specialized process chemicals is constantly increasing worldwide. We are also noticing this development in the Czech Republic. Consequently, the establishment of the subsidiary Chem-Trend CZ s.r.o. is a logical step towards tailoring our solutions even more closely to the needs of the local market. We want to serve our distribution partners and customers in the Czech Republic even more precisely in the future and further improve our services," says Radek Štourač, Managing Director Sales at Chem-Trend CZ.
The company, which specializes in release agents, cleaning granulates and other process chemicals, would like to support regional distribution partners even more in the future by approaching customers directly. With customized solutions
Chem-Trend will serve customers in the Czech Republic in the areas of die casting, polyurethane, plastics and rubber processing, tire manufacturing, friction linings, composites and wood fiber composites.
Radek Štourač and Markus Murmann have been appointed Managing Directors of the new subsidiary Chem-Trend CZ s.r.o. Štourač, who is already European Sales Manager Polyurethane and Wood-Composites at Chem-Trend, will take over the management of all sales activities. Meanwhile, Murmann will be responsible for finance and administration. He will continue in his position as General Manager Finance, Administration & Technology at Klüber Lubrication CZ s.r.o., which, like
Chem-Trend belongs to the Freudenberg Chemical Specialities (FCS) Group. Chem-Trend CZ has moved into joint offices in Prague with Klüber Lubrication CZ, which has been present as an independent company since 2000. This will allow synergies between the two sister companies of FCS to be exploited in the future.
"With a strong focus on the needs of our customers and intensive efforts in research and development, we have become one of the world's most trusted partners for process chemicals. In the future, we want to move even closer to our distribution partners and customers around the globe. By opening a company in the Czech Republic with offices in Prague, we will be pursuing this goal nationwide in the future," says Paul McGill, Executive Sales Director Europe at Chem-Trend.
