After 27 years at the helm of Oberflächen- und Elektrotechnik Scheigenpflug GmbH (OTE), Lutz Scheigenpflug handed over the management of the company to his daughter Claudia Wagner in January 2025. He will remain associated with the Leipzig-based company as an automation engineer.
The management of OTE is now in the hands of a team of three: Claudia Wagner takes on the role of Managing Partner, while Thomas Becher and Dirk Scheigenpflug continue to run the national and international business together with her as Technical Managers and authorized signatories. Conservation of resources, environmental protection and flexibility are not new concepts for OTE, but have always been part of the company philosophy - and are more important today than ever. In challenging times, the privately run family business continues to focus on customized solutions, from system design to maintenance. OTE's core competencies include the manufacture and assembly of its own tank and control cabinets, the sale of electroplating components and comprehensive maintenance services.
