On April 1, 2023, EnviroChemie AG from Eschenbach, Switzerland, acquired the shares of the two companies ProWaTech AG and Hauser + Walz GmbH, both based in Flaach, Switzerland.
The two companies will continue to operate as independent companies. ProWaTech AG was founded in 2004. The company specializes in process water, recycling and waste water technology for the electroplating, medical, watchmaking and electronics industries. The associated subsidiary Hauser + Walz - Beratende Ingenieure GmbH complements the portfolio with the business areas of expertise and chemical products. The takeover is intended to ensure a seamless succession. The management will remain unchanged. "As a system supplier of industrial water treatment plants, ProWaTech AG has similar structures to EnviroChemie AG," says Herbert Hauser, who manages the two companies together with Rainer Walz. There are differences in the markets. ProWaTech AG, for example, focuses on surface treatment. "We will complement each other perfectly," Hauser is therefore certain. Nico Siegenthaler, Managing Director of EnviroChemie AG, also expects "excellent cooperation" in the new group of companies.
