From May 24 to 28, 2021, the international machine tool industry will meet live at the Expocentre exhibition center in Moscow despite the pandemic-related restrictions. Around 600 exhibitors from 25 countries will present their innovations, technologies and equipment in the field of metalworking on more than 30,000 square meters. The trade fair and science conference is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Union of Engineers, the Council of the Russian Federation and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Metalloobrabotka is one of the ten leading machine tool exhibitions in the world and is the leading trade fair in Eastern Europe and the CIS states. Since its first edition in 1984, it has established itself as a communication platform for decision-makers, leading manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and all those interested in the machine tool industry and metalworking technology.
Suppliers of technological solutions and highlights will be available to trade visitors for direct dialog over the five days of the trade fair, including well-known Russian exhibitors such as CNC-Tulamash, the Kalashnikov Group, Laser Center, NPK Morsvyazavtomatika, Sasta, the STAN Group, Stankoprom and Stan-Samara. Participating international industry giants include companies such as AMADA, Galika AG, Hermle WWE AG, Hoffman Professional Tools, Horn, Mazak, Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V., Salvagnini Italia SPA and Trumpf.
International joint participations
Metalloobrabotka 2021 will also focus on the international country participations from Germany, Italy, France, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. Peter Schmitz, Director for Foreign Trade Fair Participations at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, is optimistic about the re-start of the trade fair in Moscow: "Our partner Expocentre and we are very pleased about the lively international exhibitor participation. Direct contact and exchange on site are essential for our customers and partners. This is made possible by a well thought-out hygiene and infection protection concept, because the health and safety of our trade visitors and exhibitors is of course our top priority".
In addition to the international participants, Metalloobrabotka offers German companies in particular an official joint stand organized by the Messe Düsseldorf Group. Numerous participating companies, including new exhibitors, will thus have the opportunity to present their innovations at attractive special conditions on the joint stand area and position themselves even more strongly in the growth market of Russia.
New: Industry 4.0, additive manufacturing and 3D solutions in Hall 3
The "Industry 4.0" area, organized by Expocentre AO with the support of the National Union of Metalworking Equipment and Tool Suppliers, has been restructured for exhibitors and visitors to Metalloobrabotka 2021 and is now even more clearly structured. The "Additive Manufacturing and 3D Solutions" sections have also been further developed to bring together manufacturers and users of professional and industrial 3D solutions in Pavilion No. 8 (Hall 3) in one place, thus facilitating the exchange of experience and joint industry developments.
The 3D industry conference integrated into the trade fair will be broadcast for the first time in a hybrid format with live streaming on YouTube. It will be attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and members of the Additive Technology Development Association (Almaz-Antey Concern, Rusatom - Additive Technologies, Roscosmos, Gazprom PAO and Rostec State Corporation). In addition, the expanded WorldSkills Russia national team will compete in CNC turning, CNC milling, additive manufacturing and metal fabrication for the first time at Metalloobrabotka 2021.
Trade fairs with safety
The leading Russian trade fair company and organizer of Metalloobrabotka Expocentre has developed a hygiene and infection protection concept based on the current Corona Protection Ordinance to ensure the necessary health precautions and distance rules at all upcoming events in Moscow. Wider corridors and entrance areas as well as well thought-out routing ensure that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be safely maintained. A large number of disinfectant dispensers have been installed. Special guides ensure that large gatherings of visitors are directly avoided and that the hygiene protection rules, such as the wearing of face masks, are correctly observed.
Accompanying science conference
Parallel to the Metalloobrabotka, experts will meet at the accompanying science conference, where they can find out about technological innovations and benefit from a thematically diverse supporting program.
