PIEPER develops automated control cabinets for seamless process monitoring

PIEPER GmbH, a provider of turnkey industrial video and security systems, has developed new control and monitoring cabinets to guarantee the protection of operating media even in high-temperature environments. PIEPER GmbH thus offers a useful addition to its modern, IP-based complete solutions in the field of digital process monitoring.

Only if industrial processes can be fully monitored, even at extreme temperatures, can the safety and efficiency of production systems be guaranteed at all times. Protected operation of the necessary components such as retraction devices and furnace probes is essential for this. For this purpose, PIEPER offers various control and monitoring cabinets in the new SS-N-890/891 series, which are specially developed and manufactured for the regulation and monitoring of operating media.

Different versions for tailor-made protection

Depending on customer requirements and system characteristics, the air-water-pneumatic control cabinets are available in two versions (SS-N-890 and SS-N-891). Both models include all the necessary control and regulation equipment to safely operate even sophisticated solutions with automatic retraction devices in addition to water-cooled camera protection enclosures and permanently installed combustion chamber systems. The SS-N-891 variant also offers motor-controlled water flow regulation for optimized water consumption. This means that the control and monitoring cabinets can be adapted precisely to the customer's requirements in order to provide the best possible protection for the PIEPER camera system.

Additional benefits through automated control

The special feature of the cabinets developed by PIEPER: To further increase safety, the components used can be automated and self-regulating controlled by special devices. For this purpose, the control cabinets can be fully integrated into existing network environments, contain sensors for media monitoring and enable electronic central monitoring via PLC.

Customized monitoring systems from a single source

With the new range of control and monitoring cabinets, PIEPER GmbH is responding to the increasing demand for complete solutions for digital process monitoring. Customers thus benefit from an integrated safety system for industrial production that sensibly links various systems and is specially tailored to their requirements.
