New name, proven technology, familiar contacts: true to this motto, gwk Gesellschaft Wärme Kältetechnik mbH and Reisner Cooling Solutions GmbH will be presenting themselves for the first time at this year's Fakuma under the new name technotrans solutions GmbH, giving visitors an insight into the ongoing integration. Proven and new solutions from a portfolio of highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems for a temperature range from -80 to +400 degrees Celsius will be on display. The focus will be on sustainable technologies and remote service solutions as the basis forCO2-neutral production in the plastics and rubber industry. In addition, the two companies will ensure a safe stand concept at Fakuma 2021 with room fans.
"Our presence at Fakuma this year is something very special. Not only because we can finally welcome customers, partners and interested parties in person again. But also because we are appearing at Fakuma with a new name and image after more than 50 years," says Nicolai Küls, Managing Director Sales and Marketing of gwk and future technotrans solutions GmbH. The merger of the two technotrans companies gwk and Reisner is already in full swing: While the change of name of gwk to technotrans solutions GmbH is planned for October 1, 2021, the Reisner division will join the new company at the beginning of 2022. By joining forces, an even more powerful competence center for the focus markets of the plastics, rubber and metal processing industries will be created as part of the Group's "Future Ready 2025" strategy. "With around 100 years of combined experience in thermal management, we are forming a strong organizational unit with sufficient room for dynamic growth. The two locations in Meinerzhagen and Holzwickede as well as the familiar contacts for our customers will remain the same after the merger, and new well-known contacts will be added," emphasizes Küls.
Highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems
Visitors to the trade fair stand can expect particularly energy-efficient and sustainable system solutions as well as systems for a wide temperature range from -80 to +400 degrees Celsius. Special features include the use of climate-friendly refrigerants with a low global warming potential (GWP) and the use of highly efficient components and control strategies. The appliance versions on display are currently unique on the market in terms of features and energy efficiency. Ralf Radke, Head of Business Development at gwk, emphasizes: "Due to the highCO2 saving effects, state subsidies are available for investments in these sustainable technologies."
The exhibits at Fakuma include the compact temperature control units from the high.line and eco.line product lines. The systems are particularly impressive due to their high level of user-friendliness and efficiency. At the trade fair, visitors will be able to gain an impression of the adaptive 7-inch Logotherm operating concept with multi-touch functions and the unique efficiency of the pump efficiency module (PEM), consisting of highly efficient centrifugal pump technology, frequency inverter and innovative control intelligence.
In the field of water distributors, technotrans will present the itd evo, a further development of the proven gwk itd series. The special features of this adaptive "(evo)lution stage" lie in the choice of flow measurement method and control type. There is a choice of low-maintenance vortex flow sensors, non-contact and maintenance-free ultrasonic flow sensors as well as static and unregulated or temperature-controlled flow control. Another special feature of the itd evo is the integration of the control unit into the technotrans temperature control units and the elimination of a separate operating unit, which is common with competitors on the market. Using the OPC UA interface, both the temperature control units and the itd evo manifolds can be connected to the smart technotrans tempanalyser app.
Visitors can also look forward to further exhibits from the field of cooling system technology. In this segment, technotrans will present individually and customer-specific designed chillers, innovative technologies for water filtration and treatment as well as a remote maintenance system. The water filter integrated into the systems, for example, works highly efficiently and without pressure losses.
Safe stand concept with room fans
In the context of the currently increasing number of corona cases, technotrans attaches particular importance to the safety of visitors to the stand. The two-storey stand concept provides sufficient space for a relaxed and compliant exchange of information. Several of the company's own tt.air room ventilators will be installed in the basement to ensure a safe stay for all visitors and stand personnel. The trade fair team on site and the colleagues connected virtually are looking forward to interesting discussions.
