Seven graduates enter professional life

After two years of training, the seven graduates of the technical school for electroplating technology in Schwäbisch Gmünd had every reason to celebrate on July 15, 2022: they received their diplomas and certificates as state-certified technicians - specializing in electroplating technology. The successful graduates are

  • RodionAlschin
  • Tim Graf
  • Moritz Haible
  • Rexhep Kajdomqaj
  • Matthias Maus (commendation)
  • David Schott (prize and prize of the sponsoring association)
  • Vincent Vocale

Principal Sabine Fath and Head of Department Dr. Christa Hannak congratulated the technicians on their graduation. Tim Graf and class teacher Volker Rogoll gave a review of two years of technician training in their speeches. Matthias Maus also presented his technician thesis on the topic: "Investigation into the usefulness of X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy for electrolyte analysis of common metal electrolyte types in electroplating". This easy-to-use analysis method makes it possible to monitor key process parameters promptly in the interests of quality and to correct them quickly if necessary. In addition to the basic subjects of chemistry, physics, electroplating and environmental technology, the two-year technician training course in Schwäbisch Gmünd also includes a special focus on PCB technology, from CAD layout to the finished circuit. The school attaches great importance to cooperation with the industry and the close integration of theory and practice. Admission to the two-year full-time schools is currently on an annual basis. The courses start in September.
