The head of the Department of Electrochemistry and Galvanotechnology at Ilmenau University of Technology, Professor Andreas Bund, was recently awarded the Teaching Prize 2023.
The award was presented at the suggestion of the student council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and recognizes above-average achievements in teaching. The listeners of Prof. Bund's lectures appreciate the breadth of content and the consideration of concepts from different perspectives, for example in energy technology. His encouragement to introduce his own topics into the courses and to integrate them into the overall concept is also well received. Students also appreciate the provision of Python scripts to reinforce the subject matter and the use of multimedia teaching formats.
