Weber Ultrasonics AG started 2021 with two personnel changes: on January 1, Wolfgang Mangold joined the Management Board of the company, which is one of the leading manufacturers of solutions and components for the industrial use of ultrasound in the fields of component cleaning, joining and separating plastics, nonwovens and composite materials as well as textile finishing. Günter Mauderer had already taken over the position of Technical Director two months earlier.
Wolfgang Mangold, who has successfully served as Vice President Operations & Supply Chain for Weber Ultrasonics for the past two years, was appointed to the company's Executive Board as Chief Operation Officer (COO) on January 1, 2021. In his new position, the business administration graduate is responsible for both the operational business and the strategic direction of the public limited company in this area. Wolfgang Mangold has more than 20 years of experience in international management. In addition to managing medium-sized companies, he has held management positions in global procurement, logistics and business unit development as well as acquisitions in global corporations.

Günter MaudererGünterMauderer has been Technical Director at Weber Ultrasonics since November 1, 2020. In addition to the technical orientation, his focus is on the optimization of internal, cross-departmental processes and the implementation of project management. The graduate electrical engineer has more than two decades of experience in the development of power electronics, including over ten years as Head of Electronics Development at a manufacturer of mega sound systems. Over the last ten years, the electrical engineer has held various management positions at a leading manufacturer of medical technology products. Most recently, as Director "Design Effectiveness", he designed and was responsible for an area to increase product maturity in new developments and implemented cross-location guidelines within the global development organization. Günter Mauderer thus combines in-depth expertise in the development of ultrasonic solutions with extensive knowledge of process and system optimization. His particular interests include the implementation of sustainable and efficient processes.
