Solder resists in the colors red, black, white and blue can be used to set design and aesthetic accents - for example, when printed circuit boards are visible in the end device and should be perceived as high-quality at first glance. The colored inks in the Elpemer 2467 series from Peters are easy to apply.
The 2-component solder resists in the range are generally used as high-tech coatings for electronics. They offer an environmentally friendly alternative to lacquer systems that still contain the harmful photoinitiators type 907 and 369. Peters Research has developed high-performance solder resist systems with an innovative and environmentally sensitive approach. On the one hand, the research results reflect the ecological challenge in PCB production; on the other hand, they exclude the two substances of concern mentioned above.
The colored inks also offer digital and direct exposability with high imaging accuracy and low release, for example around drill holes. Furthermore, the colored circuit printing varnishes are also robust. This means that they can withstand temperature and humidity - almost regardless of the intensity. They are also resistant to yellowing, highly current-resistant, easy to apply by spray or screen printing and, of course, halogen-free.
