The printed circuit board industry uses its own technical terms and terminology, some of which differ significantly from the basic vocabulary of the respective national language. Furthermore, rapid technical advances in printed circuit board technology have given rise to universal technical terms that have been adopted without translation into technical vocabulary.
The purpose of our technical dictionary is to reproduce these technical terms as comprehensively as possible. Printed circuit board technology is extremely dynamic, which is reflected in the continuous development of new technologies and processes. Accordingly, the vocabulary has also expanded.
This 3rd edition of the pocket dictionary has been expanded by approximately 3,000 terms in both languages. In response to numerous requests and suggestions, this edition also includes technical terms from process engineering and the installation of printed circuit board systems.
With approximately 11,500 English and approximately 12,500 German technical terms.
