Eutect is launching its specially developed path and force-controlled wire feeder 'Sensitive Wire Feeder', also known as SWF. This SWF is not only designed for soldering processes, but can also be used in other areas. A special feature of the SWF is that the force sensor built into this component is able to recognize when and whether a wire has reached a process point by the resulting force. This ensures that a wire processing process only starts when the wire is actually in position. In addition, a kinking or deviating wire can be detected and, if necessary, a processing process is not started. The SWF therefore supports precision and reproducibility in laser, piston and induction soldering. The path and force-controlled SWF is included in the module kit offered by the company. It includes further solutions for selective soldering and the kinematic systems required for the automation solution.
