The Reference Development Platform (RDP) EIC- i.MX93-210 announced by US provider eInfochips is based on the NXP i.MX93 application processors.
The processors include a scalable 'Arm Ethos' U65 microNPU core for efficient acceleration of machine learning and sophisticated security features with integrated EdgeLock Secure Enclave to support edge computing applications. The platform enables developers to create energy-efficient, high-performance machine learning applications. The following connectivity variants are available in the platform via mezzanine card: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN and 3G/4G/LTE. The kit comes with Linux already installed. This makes it suitable for applications such as industrial automation, smart home and intelligent household appliances, smart building and automotive applications.
According to Parag Mehta, Chief Sales and Business Development Officer at eInfochips, the platform enables users in various fields to quickly prototype and commercialize their ideas.
