Five days, five campaigns: Denios SE from Bad Oeynhausen joined the "European Sustainability Week 2023" and launched its own projects to draw attention to the topic. The Denios sites in other European countries also took part.
To coincide with the start of the Europe-wide campaign week, a healthy breakfast was prepared for employees on day one. Day two was devoted to collecting garbage. In Bad Oeynhausen alone, more than 100 kilos of litter were collected. The next day of the sustainability week was also spent outdoors - planting trees in the Wiehengebirge mountains.
The campaign week was rounded off with a car-free Monday, on which people were encouraged to form car pools or travel to work by bus, train or bicycle. The final event was Tap Water Day - all colleagues were asked to do without plastic bottles and use tap water for a whole day.
At the end of the in-house sustainability week, the organizers drew a thoroughly positive conclusion and are already planning for next year.
