H+E GmbH/Stuttgart, an Aquarion Group company and leading international provider of industrial process water and wastewater treatment solutions, has once again succeeded in winning the contract for a major project in the chemical industry.
InfraLeuna GmbH is the owner and operator of the infrastructure facilities at the Leuna chemical site. As part of a major industrial development on the site, the contract was awarded for the supply of a demineralization plant with partial flow filtration for cooling water.
The contract includes the continuous treatment of up to 375 m³/h of river water to deionized water using ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and ion exchangers as well as cooling water treatment with ultrafiltration. H+E's scope of supply for the contract includes the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of the process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and control equipment for the water treatment plant.
The decisive factors for awarding the contract to H+E GmbH after a negotiation process lasting several months were the company's decades of experience in the supply of turnkey process water plants and the submission of the technically and economically best offer. Furthermore, H+E was able to draw on a large number of similar and well-known reference projects.
