Pooling strengths for climate protection

Pooling strengths for climate protection

Renewable energies, above all wind and solar energy in combination with hydropower and bioenergy, produced more electricity than lignite and hard coal-fired power plants in the EU for the first time last year. Accordingly, demand for solar power projects is growing continuously.

It is now so great that photovoltaic expert WI Energy is specifically expanding its technology division in order to simplify and implement projects more quickly in future. Together with Marco Beth, Managing Director of BesoTec, she founded WI Technik at the beginning of the year, bringing experienced specialists from the fields of solar energy and electrical engineering into the team.

Beth is already looking for additional staff in order to successfully tackle his own projects with WI Energy in the future. "The solar industry urgently needs new talent - in all areas. If you bring me four people with electrical experience tomorrow, I'll hire them straight away." The entrepreneur himself trained as an electrician and began additional training as a solar technician in 2010.
