Construction has a key role to play on the road to climate neutrality. After all, no other sector produces as many climate-damaging emissions as construction. The same applies to resource and energy consumption. In order to change this, builders and the construction industry will have to think in cycles in the future, and not just in a technical sense. Construction methods must change and allow for more flexibility. Building products of the future must be more durable, reusable, repairable and recyclable.
