The ak-adp is holding its 37th workshop on November 11 and 12, 2020 in Leipzig. The topic this time is "Atmospheric plasmas: THE clean solution for adhesion problems". The presentations at the workshop will focus on examples of how to improve adhesion.
The focus of the R&D activities and industrial applications presented will be on
- the optimization of bonds in terms of reliability and usable materials
- the plasma treatment of natural materials, polymer surfaces, carbon fibers and wood-based materials
- new flame treatment applications
- In-mold plasma for multi-component injection molding
- In addition, one session will present measurement methods and corresponding equipment technology for surface analysis in connection with plasma treatments.
As part of the workshop, there will be an opportunity for a guided tour of the restoration workshops of the Grassi Museum. Registration is requested for this tour as well as for the evening program and the subsequent regulars' table on 11.11.2020. The number of participants in the museum tour is limited to 25.
