The roots go back to 1952, when Giuseppe Bolognini founded his company Italchimici after the end of the Second World War, which is still growing today. The company is now expanding into the German market.
When, as in Germany, the Italian metal industry grew again after the war, Italchimici also developed into a flourishing source of raw materials to supply local industry. Located in the heart of the Italian "metal belt", one of the top 3 industrialized areas in Western Europe, things were looking up.
New sales manager in Germany
Italchimici has benefited from more than 60 years of experience in the metal industry. By constantly keeping abreast of new developments and consolidating its network of suppliers and customers, the company is able to play a leading role in the rapidly and constantly changing world of electroplating. Competent personnel meet the needs of customers with quality products and rapid service.
With this in mind, Italchimici now employs a full-time sales manager in Germany, with more than 10 years of experience in the industry, who, together with other employees, guarantees the best possible service for customers directly on site. The team is supported by a network of European warehouses, which has now been extended to Germany. This means that delivery times can be further reduced.
Of course, the constantly growing product portfolio includes all common anode metals and forms used in the electroplating industry (nickel, copper, zinc, tin, silver, brass, etc.), the corresponding metal salts/base chemicals and chromic acid in flakes and solution. Italchimici fully complies with the requirements of EN ISO 9001:2008, certified by DNV-Det Norske Veritas. Following regular investments over the years, the company now has two covered areas of 5000m2 each at its headquarters in Lumezzane, with state-of-the-art continuous casting, extrusion and drawing lines for the production of oxygen-free and phosphorus-alloyed semi-finished copper products, some of which are destined for the electroplating industry. The company's aim is to become a new partner for German electroplating companies. To this end, the Italians want to contribute all their flexibility and reliability.
