DEWE Brünofix GmbH is a company from the southern metropolitan region of Nuremberg and looks back on a long tradition in the finishing of metallic surfaces. Founded in Leipzig in 1905, the company has been making history when it comes to surfaces for over 115 years.
As a system provider for surface finishing, plant engineering and process chemistry, the owner-managed company from central Franconia combines expertise and experience in the chemical treatment of metal surfaces. Today, the product range includes over 300 products for degreasing, pickling, burnishing, phosphating, corrosion protection and colorants for stainless steel, brass, copper, nickel silver and die-cast zinc.

In 2015, the company built a warehouse and production hall for surface treatment and is currently in the process of completing a new warehouse for the increased production volume.
The origins of DEWE Brünofix GmbH date back to 1905 in Liebertwolkwitz near Leipzig and the brand name was born with the first industrially produced burnishing salt under the name BRÜNOFIX. Since the 1950s, the company has been located in Rednitzhembach, at the entrance to the Franconian Lake District, south of Nuremberg, where more than 80 people are now employed. As part of the Weiss group of companies with its core competence in metal finishing and processing, the company is supported by a family-run network of 150 employees.
