The European Research Association for Thin Films (EFDS) is also authorized to submit applications for the year 2026 within the framework of Industrial Collective Research (IGF) in the field of vacuum, plasma and coating technologies. EFDS is thus continuing its commitment to initiating and supporting practical research projects for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The IGF is a funding program of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWE) that supports pre-competitive research and strengthens the transfer of knowledge between science and industry. - Biomedical engineering: implants, surgical instruments, biotechnological materials
