AM Expo, Switzerland's leading trade fair for 3D printing, will take place on September 9 and 10, 2025 at the Lucerne Exhibition Center. In recent years, the event has established itself as the most important meeting place for additive manufacturing in Switzerland. Around 100 exhibitors along the entire value chain will demonstrate the possibilities offered by additive manufacturing in an application-oriented manner and how the technology can be used profitably. AM Expo offers solutions for production-related challenges in additive manufacturing or in combination with conventional manufacturing processes and demonstrates the potential of 3D printing as a series production technology. Among other things, 2025 will focus on advanced manufacturing. This will address the question of how additive manufacturing can help to increase the competitiveness of companies - for example through hybrid manufacturing processes or the use of AI. Other focus topics include process and quality control of additively manufactured components and sustainability, which is also becoming increasingly important in additive manufacturing.
A particular highlight is the panel discussion on the topic of "Evolution-Revolution-Illusion", which aims to draw an interim conclusion: Where will additive manufacturing be in 2025, almost ten years after the first AM Expo in 2016? The accompanying symposium will also shed light on specific applications from mechanical engineering, robotics and medical technology.
