From May 14 to 17, 2024, GrindingHub will open its doors to grinding experts from all over the world for the second time. Over 460 exhibitors from 31 countries will present their latest grinding technology solutions in four halls in Stuttgart.
The focus will not only be on technical products and innovations. Current trend topics will be presented in the GrindingSolutionPark Science and in the Startup Hub: The conceptual orientation provides for a close link between business and research. Small and young companies will also be part of the industry get-together. For the first time, there will also be a joint stand for Swiss companies.
A special focus will be placed on digitalization in production
There will also be a special focus on digitalization in production: there will be a live demonstration of umati, the joint interoperability initiative of the organizer, the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW) and the German Engineering Federation (VDMA). Numerous exhibitors will be connected to the umati dashboard and will be recognizable by the sticker on their machines.
The "Grinder of the Year" competition is all about young talent. Young talents from Germany, Austria and Switzerland can prove their theoretical knowledge as well as their practical grinding skills. In addition to the title of "Grinder of the Year 2024", education vouchers worth up to 3,500 euros are up for grabs. The finalists from the preliminary round will demonstrate their skills live during the GrindingHub in Stuttgart.
