Analyses must not only be precise and conform to standards, but also deliver results quickly and in a practical manner. Existing structures often no longer allow these requirements to be met. This is where Labor Brenscheidt comes in: As a new brand of Brenscheidt Galvanik Service, it has been pooling its expertise in the fields of water, metal and coating analysis since 2022.
Its origins lie in a small laboratory that initially only supported internal research projects. Today, a six-person team with modern equipment is available to support industrial partners in quality assurance, product development and complaint testing. The consistent focus on analytical services makes it clear: while BGS continues to cover consulting, training and project support, the name Labor Brenscheidt will in future stand exclusively for professional analysis.
Water analysis covers a broad field: from electrolytes, process and cooling water to waste and drinking water and ultra-pure systems. ICP-OES is used to detect heavy metals such as nickel, copper or chromium, automatic titrations determine acid and alkali contents or additives and UV-VIS spectroscopy enables the measurement of common impurities, for example in industrial waste water.
In metal and coating analysis, the spectrum ranges from XRF examinations (coating thickness measurements, RoHS screenings), cross-sections and digital microscopy to Hull cell tests, soldering tests in accordance with DIN and silver passivation tests. This makes it possible to see what is actually happening at interfaces and coating systems - a decisive contribution to process optimization and material safety.
Target industries include electroplating companies, automotive suppliers, the paper and plastics industry and medical technology. Waterworks, recycling companies and environmental laboratories are among the customers today, as are industrial research and development departments.
