Rising energy prices and the fixed price for the emission of one tonneof CO2 by the German government are just two of the many reasons why the topic of energy efficiency is becoming an even greater focus for companies. Referring to a report by the ZVO in May 2022, energy prices have risen by +66% within one year (February 2021 - February 2022).
With the new gamma L3+ rectifier innovation, which impresses with an efficiency increase of 4% compared to the market standard, Munk GmbH is counteracting this trend and meeting the demand for a highly efficient and sustainable power supply. The compatibility of the gamma L3+ with existing systems opens up previously unknown sustainability potential. Regardless of the interface, the devices can be easily replaced. When developing rectifiers, the company focuses on conserving resources and maximizing the service life of the devices under the most adverse environmental conditions.
Contact was established with the Öko-Zentrum NRW in Hamm several years ago. With the help of the Öko-Zentrum's expertise in funding opportunities and energy consulting, it was possible to combine the idea of promoting highly efficient rectifiers with state funding and drive forward energy-related optimizations in galvanic systems. To date, numerous customers have not only benefited from subsidies, but are also pleased with the significant reduction in energy costs.
