For compressed air users operating up to six compressors, the new Equalizer 4.0 central compressor controller from Atlas Copco offers energy savings, reduced maintenance costs and energy management in accordance with ISO 50001. The controller is easy to install and is available in two versions: as a wall-mounted version with a touch display or as a version integrated directly into the Atlas Copco "Elektronikon" compressor controller.
The Equalizer 4.0 offers more options for visualizing operating states and documentation in accordance with ISO 50001 than its predecessor, the ES 6. It controls up to six compressors and can be connected to all full-load / idle compressors and speed-controlled compressors from Atlas Copco, as well as those from other manufacturers (digital contacts or via optional interfaces).
The control system keeps the network pressure within specified limits by starting, loading, unloading and stopping the connected compressors in a defined sequence. If a pressure drop is registered in the network, the equalizer selects the next compressor in the specified sequence.
