With the Turbovac MAG 2807 iS and 3207 iS Maglev turbomolecular pumps, Leybold is launching two new, compact turbomolecular pumps in the pumping speed class of 3,000 l/s onto the market. Equipped with magnetic rotor bearings, these extremely robust, low-vibration pumps are ideal for clean, hydrocarbon-free high vacuum conditions.
They are suitable for applications in research and development as well as in industrial areas such as coating, electron beam processes, space simulation chambers and beamline applications. The exceptional performance of the vacuum pumps is due to their compact design and extended maintenance intervals of up to 80,000 hours or 10,000 cycles. They can be installed in virtually any position, making them ideal for working environments where space is at a premium and flexibility is required.
